A very warm welcome to Our Lady and St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School. We are a small, family school set in beautiful grounds at the top of the hill in Cubbington. Our location includes a delightful forest site which allows for exciting outdoor curriculum opportunities. I feel very privileged and honoured to be the leader of such a wonderful, family-orientated school.

During the half term break, our school community has been held in prayer. Candles have been lit in St Peter’s Basilica, a special Mass has been placed, and our offering has been blessed by the Holy Father himself. 🙏
We give thanks for this extraordinary blessing and pray that it continues to guide our pupils, staff, and families in faith, hope, and love. 🕯️💛

What an amazing day our Year 2 children have had celebrating India Day as part of their topic work! 🇮🇳 The hall was filled with colour, music, and laughter as the children tried their hand at Bhangra dancing, sampled delicious Indian food, and explored the vibrant sights and sounds of Indian culture. 🎶🍛💃

Our summer building works have been completed today with the installation of the new railings. With external access from the hall and year 3 and 4 classrooms, the school is now so much more accessible. Thank you to Our Lady of The Magnificat Multi-Academy for making this possible 🙏

🕺✨ Our Year 5 pupils have been showing off some serious moves in their weekly dance lessons — we’ve seen moonwalking, breakdancing, and possibly even a few spontaneous twirls! The photos are mostly a blur (they move that fast!) but the smiles are crystal clear. A huge thank you to the Barbara O’Rourke Foundation for funding this fantastic opportunity — our hall has never looked so lively! 💃🎶

A huge thank you to Leah from the Mental Health in Schools Team for delivering such a thoughtful and engaging assembly this morning. She helped us all reflect on the importance of looking after our mental health and supporting one another.
We’re proudly wearing yellow today and fundraising for MIND, joining thousands of others across the country to raise awareness and show that no one is ever alone with their mental health. 💛🧠

Today Key Stage Two joined the celebration of Mass at Our Lady’s, on the Feast of St Thérèse of Lisieux. Through her Little Way, we are asked to “do little things with great love” ❤️
During his homily, Father Ryan asked us all to take a moment and note the little things that mean a great deal. He pointed out the beauty in the stained glass within our church and we were encouraged to take a moment to reflect upon this, identifying our favourite spot. Here is the window from the Lady Chapel (a personal favourite!) and an example of the little bits of beauty that we are lucky to enjoy in our wonderful church ⛪️
